370. Ele não recua diante das fantasias  nem se detém: mostra a flecha do Rei ; então o caminho é feito .

Desse cálice escondido  Tu derramaste do cálice dos nobres  um gole sobre a terra empoeirada.
Do gole há um traço nos cabelos e nas bochechas : daí os reis lambem a terra .
É o rascunho da beleza  —  na adorável terra — que você está beijando com cem corações dia e noite.

375. Já que a poção, quando misturada ao pó, te enlouquece, pensa como sua essência pura te afetaria!
Todos estão esfarrapados  na presença de um torrão que recebeu um gole de Beleza.
 uma corrente de ar  na lua e no sol e em Áries;  uma corrente de ar  no Trono e no Escabelo e em Saturno.
Oh, eu me pergunto, você vai chamá-lo de um gole ou um elixir, já que do contato com ele surgiram tantos esplendores
Procure seriamente contato com ele, ó homem realizado: ninguém deve tocá-lo, exceto o purificado.

’Tis the draught of  beauty— in the lovely earth—that thou art kissing with a hundred hearts day and night.

375. Since the draught, when mingled with dust, makes thee mad, think how its pure essence would affect thee!
Every one is tattered  in the presence of a clod that has received a draught of Beauty.
 a draught  on the moon and the sun and Aries;  a draught  on the Throne and the Footstool and Saturn.
Oh, I wonder, wilt thou call it a draught or an elixir, since from contact with it so many splendours arised
Earnestly seek contact with it, O accomplished man: none shall touch it except the purified.
