Sempre uma piada! Estás falando contigo mesmo e criando esta imaginação demoníaca, e então ela fala contigo o tempo todo, e é algo promissor, mas nunca pode cumprir a promessa.

Nunca entregará o tesouro que és. És Isso que é o próprio Deus. Todos os ornamentos - o que quer que diga, até as promessas - ainda são de ouro. Eles não podem tocar em ti.

Então não acredites em ti mesmo. Nem podes confiar em ti mesmo. Esta é a beleza disto. Sempre existe esta imagem de ti mesmo: "Confie em mim. Eu te lidero. Confie em mim". Sempre falando. "Confie em mim. Eu posso entregar." Ha! Não. Não podes nem confiar em ti mesmo, pois não há nem um Si mesmo em quem confiar, pois até a ideia de "Si" está provinda do mesmo. Não.

"Ufa. Absolutamente só. Ninguém em quem confiar. Nenhum Deus, nenhum Si. Ufa!" Mas este é o paraíso, a falta de Deus, a incapacidade, aquele "um sem segundo", este é o paraíso. Nem mesmo se conhecendo. A ausência total, mesmo de uma ideia de "Si" ou "Deus" ou qualquer coisa, é Isso que é, o que quer que signifique ...

So don’t believe yourself. You cannot even trust yourself. That’s the beauty of it. There’s always this image of yourself – "Trust me. I lead you. Trust me." Always talking. "Trust me. I can deliver." Ha! No. You cannot even trust yourself, as there is not even a Self to trust, as even the idea of "Self" is coming out of the same whatever. No.

"Whew. Absolutely alone. No one to trust. No God, no Self. Whew!" But that’s paradise, that Godlessness, that helplessness, that "one without a second," that’s paradise. Not even knowing yourself. A total absence even of an idea of "Self" or "God" or anything, you are That which is, whatever it means…
