“Quem está aí?”, pergunta uma voz vinda de dentro. “Sou eu”, diz o homem. “Então vá embora”, responde a voz. “Aqui não há espaço para ‘eu’.” O homem vai embora e vagueia pelo deserto até perceber seu erro. Ele volta e bate novamente à porta. “Quem está aí?”, pergunta a voz, “Tu”, responde o homem. “Então entra”, responde a voz.
“Who's there?” asks a voice from within. “It's me,” says the man. “Go away then,” answers the voice. “There’s no room here for ‘me.’” The man goes away and wanders in the desert until he realizes his error. He returns and knocks again at the door. “Who's there?” asks the voice, “Thou,” answers the man. “Then come in,” the voice replies.
